Coforge in Australia is seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Systems Engineer (SCCM and Intune SME) to design, deploy, configure, maintain, and support the organization’s endpoint management infrastructure.

You will leverage SCCM and Intune to ensure secure, compliant operation across desktop and mobile devices, automate tasks with PowerShell, and collaborate with security, networking, and service desk teams.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Systems Engineer (SCCM and Intune SME) to design, deploy, configure, maintain, and support the organization’s endpoint management infrastructure. This role involves leveraging tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant operation of all desktop and mobile devices across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
1. Tool Administration
  • Administer and maintain endpoint management solutions, primarily SCCM and Intune.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of endpoint management platforms.
2. Software Deployment & Packaging
  • Package, test, and deploy software applications and updates across the organization.
  • Ensure compatibility, reliability, and compliance with licensing and security policies.
3. Patch Management
  • Schedule and monitor timely deployment of OS and third-party patches.
  • Maintain compliance and security posture across all endpoints.
4. Operating System Deployment (OSD) & Imaging
  • Develop and maintain standardized desktop images and task sequences using SCCM (and MDT/WDS if required).
5. Incident & Problem Resolution
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support for endpoint-related incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within agreed SLAs.
6. Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor system health, performance, and compliance status.
  • Generate reports on deployment success, patching status, and asset inventory.
7. Scripting & Automation
  • Utilize PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate routine tasks.
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation of deployments and configurations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (security, networking, service desk).
9. Security & Compliance
  • Ensure endpoint configurations adhere to internal IT policies and regulatory standards.
  • Integrate antivirus and baseline security configurations across managed devices.
Required Skills
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with OS deployment, patch management, and software packaging.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with additional endpoint management tools (Nanoheal, IBM BigFix, ManageEngine, Zenworks) is a plus.
