Job summary

Levyl is partnering with a large organisation to appoint a Workplace Relations Specialist on a minimum 7-month fixed-term contract in Australia. You will provide specialist advice across wage compliance, workplace governance and industrial relations, interpreting Modern Awards and relevant legislation while supporting wage reviews and entitlement assessments.

You will engage with unions and internal stakeholders, contribute to governance initiatives, and lead proactive projects to strengthen

Qualifications

  • Experience in wage compliance and Modern Award interpretation.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Ability to analyse payroll data and identify compliance risks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead wage compliance reviews and entitlement assessments.
  • Interpret Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Analyse timesheet data, penalty rates and other entitlements.
  • Perform wage compliance risk assessments and suggest mitigations.
  • Support salary reconciliation and wage reviews.
  • Review recordkeeping, contracts, time and attendance systems.
  • Recommend process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Support changes from industrial relations reform.
  • Provide specialist ER/IR advice on complex matters.
  • Assist workplace investigations and complex case management.
  • Collaborate with unions and employee representatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Own proactive workplace relations and governance projects.
