Job summary

Master Builders ACT is seeking an experienced Workplace Relations Adviser to join the Workplace Relations and Policy team in Fyshwick, ACT. The role focuses on advising members on industrial relations, employment law and construction industry matters.

You will handle awards, enterprise agreements, SOPA issues and ACAT disputes, while supporting policy initiatives and member education. A background in law or IR, strong communication and stakeholder skills are essential.

Master Builders ACT is the leading association representing the building and construction industry in the ACT. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workplace Relations Adviser to join our Workplace Relations and Policy team and provide high-quality advice and support to members across industrial relations, employment law and construction industry matters.

About You

• Qualifications in Law, Industrial Relations, Workplace Relations, Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of workplace relations and employment law.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to interpret complex legislation and provide practical solutions.
• Experience advising employers on workplace issues and dispute resolution.
• Construction industry, contract administration, SOPA or ACAT experience will be highly regarded.
