Job summary

Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) seeks an Associate Director of Workplace Relations to help influence national policy, analyse legislation, and represent Australian business in discussions shaping the future of work. You will engage with government agencies, regulators, industry groups and ACCI members to advance policy reform.

The successful candidate will bring deep experience in workplace relations, employment policy or advocacy, excellent research and written communication

Qualifications

• Experience in policy development and advocacy.
• Strong understanding of Australian workplace relations frameworks.
• Experience in industry associations or member-based organisations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse workplace relations legislation and policy developments.

The Successful Applicant

Experienced in:

• Workplace relations or employment policy
• Government policy and regulatory affairs
• Employment or industrial relations law
• An industry association or member-based organisation

You bring:

• Experience in policy development, workplace relations, employment law or advocacy
• Excellent research, analysis and written communication skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement capability
• Sound understanding of Australian workplace relations frameworks
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
