Job summary

City of Sydney is seeking an allied health professional to deliver injury management, health and wellbeing, rehabilitation and return to work services to achieve optimal outcomes for our employees, in line with best practice principles and relevant legislation. The role places a strong emphasis on psychosocial factors that may impact recovery and work participation.

You will hold tertiary qualifications with accreditation/registration in an allied health discipline and have 2–3 years’ workplace

Qualifications

• tertiary qualifications and accreditation/registration in an allied health discipline (e.g. Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or related).
• 2-3 years minimum experience in workplace rehabilitation and return to work case management in a worker’s compensation environment.
• The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration, medical assessment and criminal history check.

• This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
