Job summary

Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a proactive Corporate Reception professional based at our Perth office. You will manage front-of-house operations, support events, greet guests, and coordinate deliveries to ensure a seamless visitor experience and a positive impression of the AEMO brand.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating with the Workplace Experience team, and upholding health, safety and compliance standards across our sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate reception environments.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (MS Teams).
• Understanding of Workplace Support and Concierge services.
• Familiarity with Facility/Property support functions.
• Knowledge of facility/compliance in administrative settings.

Responsibilities

• Answer reception calls and staff inquiries.
• Manage events: meeting rooms, setup, catering requests.
• Greet staff and visitors; receive deliveries.
• Oversee mailbox/MS Teams requests.
• Support Front of House/Concierge/Catering across locations.
• Anticipate workforce and visitor needs; troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Review invoices/purchase orders in D365.
• Maintain records and databases.
• Support health and safety in the workplace.
• Collaborate with National Workplace team to improve the experience.
