Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking a Workforce Development Advisor to support workforce participation, training and employment initiatives across the Melbourne project. You will work with schools, training providers and community organisations to create pathways into construction and sustainable employment.

You will coordinate local employment initiatives, assist in meeting project targets, manage SBATs, and build strong relationships with RTOs/TAFEs. Guide trainees and cadets through programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce development, training or employment programs.
• Ability to coordinate training, employment or participation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Data management, reporting and administration experience.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local employment, training and development initiatives across the project.
• Assist in the delivery of workforce participation commitments and project targets.
• Coordinate and support School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs).
• Manage relationships with schools, TAFEs, RTOs and training providers to facilitate workforce pathways.
• Liaise with subcontractors and project teams to identify employment and training opportunities.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees, apprentices, cadets and workforce program participants.
• Track program performance against project targets and contractual obligations.
