QSuper Group in Brisbane is seeking a Workforce Capability Specialist to design, build, test and implement capability frameworks that strengthen technical capability across Product & Services.

You will turn complex information into practical, engaging capability solutions that support learning, compliance and performance. This permanent role is based in Brisbane with a hybrid work model and opportunities to influence capability strategy and governance while maintaining capability data.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and implementing competency or capability frameworks.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience translating technical information into learning resources.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding governance frameworks, risk and compliance.
  • Good organisational and time management with competing priorities.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, Knowledge Management or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and implement workforce capability frameworks across Product & Services.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop competency frameworks that align with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and review competency-related data within Training and Knowledge technology solutions.
  • Support the review and uplift of governance frameworks, policies and documentation.
  • Monitor risks associated with capability and governance frameworks and escalate as needed.
  • Participate in audits and reviews to support compliance and quality outcomes.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen technical capability and workforce effectiveness.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to support continuous improvement.

As a Workforce Capability Specialist, you'll partner with leaders, subject matter experts and stakeholders to design, build, test and implement capability frameworks that strengthen technical capability across Product & Services.


You'll contribute to the ongoing improvement of competency and governance frameworks, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements, industry standards and organisational objectives. Working within the Training and Knowledge Management team, you'll turn complex information into practical, engaging capability solutions that support learning, compliance and performance.


This is a fantastic opportunity to influence workforce capability strategy, drive continuous improvement and help create a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation. You'll also play an important role in maintaining capability-related data, supporting governance reviews and identifying opportunities to enhance training and knowledge management practices.


This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test and implement workforce capability frameworks across Product & Services.

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Research industry trends, emerging technologies and best practice approaches, sharing insights that support continuous improvement.
Qualifications

  • Your communication skills enable you to influence stakeholders and simplify complex concepts.
  • You'll bring strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • You're experienced in translating technical information into clear, practical learning or knowledge resources.
  • You can facilitate discussions, workshops or capability initiatives with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Your understanding of governance frameworks, risk considerations and compliance requirements is well developed.
  • You'll have strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • You're comfortable working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams to achieve business outcomes.
  • You hold tertiary qualifications in Education, Knowledge Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
