Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Workers' Compensation Team Leader to guide a dedicated claims team across WA, SA and NT. The role emphasizes day-to-day leadership, claims oversight, coaching, and compliance, with in-person attendance in South Australia.

The ideal candidate has experience leading self-insured workers' compensation teams, knowledge of SAET/Tribunal processes, and a track record of compliant, cost-conscious claim management within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within self-insured workers' compensation schemes or similar environments.
• Experience with SAET/Tribunal attendance and with seriously injured and WPI matters.
• Proven expertise in managing workers' compensation claims under self-insurance frameworks and compliance with legislation and policies.
• Strong case management skills balancing cost control and team wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a claims team across WA, SA and NT with high performance and development focus.
• Oversee end-to-end processing of workers' compensation claims ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert support to the team for accurate claim decisions under company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of legislative/regulatory changes and communicate within the team.
• Manage a largely remote team with training and coaching to ensure ongoing compliance and performance.
