Job summary

Starlight Children's Foundation in Sydney seeks a Systems & Data Analyst to administer Workday (HCM, Recruiting, Learning & Performance) and related platforms. You will optimise systems, deliver workforce insights, and partner with P&P and Technology to improve processes and reporting.

The role requires translating complex system concepts into practical guidance for managers and employees, ensuring data integrity and compliant practices across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and administering Workday or a similar HCM platform.
• Understanding of P&P processes across the employee lifecycle and how to configure systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate workforce data with governance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing workforce reports and identifying trends.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Workday and other P&P systems.
• Configure and maintain business processes, workflows, approvals and structures.
• Ensure system access and settings align with policies and compliance.
• Support system enhancements and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear documentation and user guides.
• Configure processes across recruitment, onboarding, movements, leave, performance and offboarding.
• Test and validate configuration changes before implementation.
• Maintain accuracy of workforce data, org structures, job profiles and compensation frameworks.
• Conduct data quality reviews and support compliance reporting.
• Provide Level 1 and 2 user support to resolve issues.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Prepare workforce reports and dashboards; identify trends for planning.
