Job summary

Monash City Council in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking an HRIS Project Officer to support the Workday implementation within the People & Safety team. This fixed-term full-time role runs until 30 June 2027 and offers a salary of AU$102,059.45 plus superannuation.

You will gather requirements, design workflows, coordinate data migration and testing, and partner with stakeholders to deliver practical HR solutions while ensuring data privacy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Previous Workday experience is essential.
• Experience with HR operations, systems and processes.
• High data literacy with ability to analyse and communicate data while maintaining privacy.
• Experience with HR systems such as Culture Amp and Aurion.
• Experience coordinating project timelines, milestones and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and configuration of Workday, including requirements gathering, workflow design and process improvement.
• Coordinate project deliverables.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, HR processes and data needs.
• Support data migration and system integration activities, with a focus on data integrity, privacy and accuracy.
• Coordinate and undertake system and workflow testing, identify issues and contribute to quality assurance.
• Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes and continually improve the employee and user experience.
