Job summary

Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate ACT is seeking professionals for Work Rehabilitation Services within the Work Safety Group. You will deliver rehabilitation support for ACT public sector employees with injuries or illnesses, aiming to keep workers at work or help them return safely, using evidence-based, person-centred approaches.

Ideal candidates have allied health qualifications, at least 2 years post-qualification experience, and AHPRA registration.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline and a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience.
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or other relevant board is required.
• A current driver's licence is required.
• Experience in the delivery of occupational rehabilitation services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work rehabilitation services for ACT public sector employees with a work-related injury or illness.
• Provide person-centred, evidence-based support to remain at or return to work.
• Work closely with rehabilitation case managers and treating clinicians to support a healthy and safe return to work as part of the workers' compensation system.
