Job summary

WorkFocus Australia is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant—Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Exercise Physiologist—to join our multidisciplinary allied health team in ACT. This full-time role focuses on returning injured employees to work through comprehensive assessments and tailored RTW programs.

You will collaborate with clients, insurers and medical practitioners while supporting your professional development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree in OT, EP or Physiotherapy with full accreditation.
• Willingness to travel; hold a current vehicle and driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service mindset.
• Punctuality and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers; design and monitor return-to-work programs.
• Perform activities of daily living, home, worksite and ergonomic assessments.
• Identify RTW barriers and liaise with clients, insurers and practitioners to reach outcomes.
• Develop strategies to progress files and achieve RTW benchmarks with cost efficiency.
• Design and monitor programs that help injured employees return to the workforce.
