Job summary

Water Corporation in Western Australia is seeking a Work Planning Coordinator based in Karratha for a fixed-term opportunity up to 12 months. You will manage the regional work program, coordinating planning, programming, reporting, and customer engagement to ensure assets operate as intended.

You will review the program for accuracy within resource constraints and provide coaching and process support across the region, partnering with stakeholders to optimise delivery of planned operations and

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and considerable field work planning experience.
  • OR substantial experience in field work planning or management in a large infrastructure-based service organisation
  • You will require a valid WA Driver’s licence

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of the regional work program (planning, programming, reporting, and engaging customers) to ensure activities are carried out and assets operate as intended.
  • Review the work program and check work has been completed accurately and within resource constraints.
  • Provide process support, training and coaching within the region and monitor the overall effectiveness of the region’s work program and planning processes to optimise the outcome for Water Corporation.
  • Having solid customer relationship and interpersonal skills, you will support effective delivery of works with our key stakeholders.
  • Having experience with systems like Maximo, SAP, and Power BI will be an advantage.

About The Role

Showcase your well-developed organisational, conceptual, and analytical skills.

As a Work Planning Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate the preparation of our regional work program (planning, programming, reporting, and engaging customers) to ensure activities are carried out and assets operate as intended.

You will review the work program and check work has been completed accurately and within resource constraints.

You will also provide process support, training and coaching within the region and monitor the overall effectiveness of the region’s work program and planning processes to optimise the outcome for Water Corporation.

Having solid customer relationship and interpersonal skills, you will support effective delivery of works with our key stakeholders.

Having experience with systems like Maximo, SAP, and Power BI will be an advantage.

Ultimately, you will have a broad understanding of field-based service delivery functions, and the potential risk associated with ineffective delivery of planned operations activities and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications And Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and considerable experience in field work planning or work management in a large infrastructure-based service organisation
