Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. in Western Australia is seeking a Specialist Work Management Planner for a permanent role working a 40-hour week on a 9-day roster.

The position focuses on developing and communicating plans in line with Work Management processes and Australian standards. You will plan SAP-based work orders, manage preventative and corrective strategies, and ensure schedules align with production milestones while staying within resource and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP PM and MM modules.
• Experience with fixed plant and refining equipment and activities.
• Advanced computer literacy in MS Office (MS Project, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Plan and Schedule work orders using SAP in accordance with work management processes to ensure safe execution of work for all South32 employees and Contractors to maintain a safe and reliable plant.
• Monitor and manage preventative and corrective work strategies including statutory plans for safe and effective deployment of resources, materials management, and budget adherence.
• Facilitate the creation of weekly schedules to ensure alignment of all work management activities aligned to production plans and milestones.
• Build and communicate accurate work schedules reflecting all work management activities, ensuring they are adequately resourced and aligned to the corresponding planning windows.
