Job summary

The Reject Shop is seeking an Inventory & Systems Manager for our Distribution Centre in Australia. You will own the systems and inventory functions, ensuring warehouse technology operates effectively and inventory remains accurate and auditable.

Lead the WMS program, oversee RF and voice tech, and drive a major SAP EWM rollout. Collaborate with Finance, Merchandising and DC teams to optimise processes and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in inventory management, stock control, warehouse systems or a similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing cycle counts, inventory reconciliations and stock adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to investigate discrepancies and understand financial impact.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and understanding warehouse processes from inbound to outbound.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly macros, spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret inventory data, identify trends and prepare variance reporting.
• Collaborative approach across departments and operational teams.
• Proactive mindset to learn new systems and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the subject matter expert for our Warehouse Management System (WMS), overseeing the flow of inventory from inbound receipt through to outbound dispatch.
• Managing and supporting warehouse technologies, including RF equipment, voice technology and scanning automation.
• Playing a key role in the implementation and rollout of SAP EWM across warehouse operations.
• Working with project stakeholders to support the transition to EWM, providing operational knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Maintaining inventory integrity by monitoring stock quantities, carton volumes and inventory values, ensuring WMS and SAP alignment.
• Overseeing cycle counting processes, investigating discrepancies and ensuring inventory adjustments are recorded.
• Being the data integrity and Stock on Hand subject matter expert.
• Delivering monthly inventory variance reports and monitoring discrepancies against financial tolerances.
• Partnering with Finance, Distribution Centre and Merchandise teams to ensure data accuracy for reporting.
• Ensuring SOPs, inventory controls and processes are followed site-wide.
• Identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, system functionality and warehouse efficiency.
• Collaborating with operational teams to provide guidance and ensure consistent processes.
