Job summary

Sure Power Industries Pty Ltd in Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast is hiring a production assistant to assemble electrical wiring harnesses. The role runs a 38-hour week: Mon–Thu 6:30am–3pm, Fri 6:30am–12:30pm, with flexible hours to fit school runs and other commitments.

You will prepare and crimp connectors onto wires, tape and sleeve, and ensure high-quality assembly under a busy production schedule. Training is provided in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly work is not essential.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work independently with a busy production schedule.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Join our friendly team assembling electrical wiring harnesses — including preparing and crimping (electric and manual) connectors/fittings onto wire/cables, taping and sleeving. We pride ourselves on a supportive working environment with training provided.

This is a 38-hour Monday to Friday role (Mon–Thu 6:30am–3pm, Fri 6:30am–12:30pm), and we offer flexible hours to help fit around school pick-ups and drop-offs or other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Assembly of electrical wiring harnesses
• Preparing and crimping (electric and manual) connectors/fittings onto wire/cables
• Taping and sleeving

About you

• Experience in assembly work - not essential
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to stay on your feet for periods during your shift
• A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on quality
• Able to work independently while keeping pace with a busy production schedule
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
