Job summary

HELM Wiring in Molendinar, Queensland seeks an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role focuses on assembling wiring harnesses and electrical components to our high-quality standards, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will perform quality checks, use hand and power tools, and collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets while maintaining a tidy, safe work area and reporting any defects promptly.

Join the team at HELM Wiring as an Assembly Technician. This full-time role is based in our Molendinar, Queensland facility and will involve the assembly and production of high-quality wiring solutions for the manufacturing industry. You'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards and are delivered on time to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Assemble wiring harnesses and other electrical components according to detailed specifications
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the assembly process
• Utilise power tools and other equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently and safely
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation to support effective production
• Identify and report any issues or defects to ensure the quality of our products

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role, ideally within the electrical or automotive industries
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams
• Comfortable using a range of hand tools and power tools
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A strong focus on safety and quality
• A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
