Centorrino Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a Wintel Infrastructure Engineer to support critical government environments in a 12-month fixed-term contract, onsite in ACT or VIC. The role emphasizes enterprise security, scripting, and cloud familiarity to uplift security postures and compliance with Essential Eight.

Ideal candidates will have strong Wintel expertise, experience with automation, and security clearances (NV2 or TSPV) to be eligible for submission. Remote work is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Extensive cyber security experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Wintel infrastructure with a focus on secure systems.
• Experience implementing Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
• Experience with scripting or application development to automate admin tasks.
• Desirable: experience with Azure or AWS.
• Desirable: experience identifying/remediating AD compromises.
• Current NV2 or TSPV security clearance at submission time.
• Ability to work onsite in ACT or VIC.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across enterprise Wintel environments.
• Support initiatives to uplift the security posture of Australian Government systems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, security procedures and admin processes.
• Participate in technical workshops on infrastructure design, security and remediation.
• Prototype and test security configurations to support technical advice and recommendations.
• Contribute to Essential Eight mitigation strategies implementation.
• Automate system administration and vulnerability assessment tasks through scripting and development.
• Assist with identifying, assessing and remediating cyber security risks across enterprise environments.
