Centorrino Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a Wintel Infrastructure Engineer to join a government-focused team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with onsite work based in ACT or VIC.

The role targets experienced Wintel professionals with a strong focus on enterprise infrastructure, cyber security and secure system administration. Bring extensive cyber security experience, a solid Wintel background, and familiarity with Essential Eight mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant cyber security experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Wintel infrastructure background with secure systems.
• Experience implementing Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
• Scripting or app development to automate admin tasks.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience identifying and remediating AD-related risks.
• NV2 or TSPV security clearance at submission time.
• Ability to work onsite in ACT or VIC.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across enterprise Wintel environments.
• Support initiatives to uplift the security posture of Australian Government systems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, security procedures and administrative processes.
• Participate in technical workshops focused on infrastructure design, security and remediation.
• Prototype and test security configurations to support technical advice and recommendations.
• Contribute to the implementation of Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
• Automate system administration and vulnerability assessment tasks through scripting and application development.
• Assist with identifying, assessing and remediating cyber security risks across enterprise environments.

• Extensive technical cyber security experience, ideally within enterprise environments.
• Strong Wintel infrastructure experience with a focus on secure enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience implementing one or moreEssential Eightmitigation strategies.
• Experience with scripting or application development to automate administration, vulnerability assessment or cyber security tasks.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such asAzure or AWSis desirable.
• Experience identifying and remediating risks associated withActive Directory compromisesis desirable.
• Current NV2 or TSPV security clearance- this must be held at the time of submission.
• Ability to work onsite inACT or VIC.
