Job summary

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Wintel Infrastructure Engineer to join a government-focused team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with extension options. The role is based in ACT or VIC and onsite.

You will bring extensive cybersecurity expertise in enterprise environments and a strong focus on secure Windows infrastructure, with experience implementing the Essential Eight and AD risk remediation. Scripting or app development to automate tasks is desirable, and cloud experience with Azure

Qualifications

• Extensive cyber security experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Wintel infrastructure experience focused on secure systems.
• Experience implementing Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
• Experience with scripting or app development to automate admin tasks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience identifying and remediating Active Directory risks.
• Current NV2 or TS-PV security clearance at submission.
• Ability to work onsite in ACT or VIC.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across enterprise Wintel environments.
• Support initiatives to uplift the security posture of Australian Government systems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, security procedures and administrative processes.
• Participate in technical workshops focused on infrastructure design, security and remediation.
• Prototype and test security configurations to support technical advice and recommendations.
• Contribute to the implementation of Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
• Automate system administration and vulnerability assessment tasks through scripting and application development.
• Assist with identifying, assessing and remediating cyber security risks across enterprise environments.
