Bar Lourinhã in Melbourne's CBD is seeking a passionate and experienced F&B Professional Waiter to join our front-of-house team. Qualifications

• FOH experience in a quality setting is desirable.
• Genuine passion for food, wine and Iberian/Mediterranean dining.
• Interest in European wines and developing knowledge of our wine list.
• Excellent communication skills with guests.
• Polished, personable and guest-focused service.
• Strong attention to detail and initiative.
• Ability to stay composed, organised and efficient in busy service.
• Collaborative mindset and teamwork.
• Confidence with POS systems, payments and procedures.
• Understanding of food safety, allergens and dietary requirements.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive and professional service.
• Welcome guests, manage seating and guide their dining experience.
• Provide informed recommendations on dishes and seasonal offerings.
• Develop knowledge of our European wine list and pairings.
• Take accurate orders and communicate with kitchen and bar teams.
• Maintain service standards, including table presentation and clearing.
• Process payments and operate the POS confidently.
• Respond to guest enquiries with warmth and sound judgement.
• Collaborate with the wider team for a positive service environment.
