Job summary

WRS Windows & Doors in Blacktown, NSW is seeking an experienced Aluminium Window and Door Estimator to provide accurate cost quotes for residential enquiries. This full-time role is integral to our growing team.

You will use Softech V6 Window & Door software to build and quote products, review plans and drawings, and collaborate with management and production to ensure estimates align with budgets. Only candidates with at least four years in window estimation and a strong grasp of Australian

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Window Estimator (V6 / Logical / Ect).
• Strong understanding of residential window and door products, Australian Standards, Building Codes, Fire Rating and associated costs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately calculate quantities and costs.
• Familiarity within the Window and Door industry and an understanding of the products you are selling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, sales, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Quote single item orders to house lots and small commercial projects.
• Answer phones and customer inquiries on the spot.
• Use Softech V6 to build windows/doors for quoting.
• Generate quotes and detailed prices in Softech V6.

• Maintain pricing, vendor databases, and estimating tools.
• Identify risks or issues that could impact order costs and inform the team.
• Provide support and guidance to fabrication crew to ensure projects stay within budget.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Window and Door Estimator to join our team at WRS Windows & Doors' in Blacktown, NSW. As a Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost quotes for residential window and door enquiries. This is a full-time role and you will be an integral part of our growing company.

Please note: Prior experience in Softech V6 or another aluminium window and door estimation / production software is a must for this role.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing customer inquiries , project plans, specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required products and materials. Please note that you will be quoting everything from single item orders to house lots and small commercial projects.

Answering the phones and answering customer inquiries and questions on the spot.

Utilising Softech V6 Window & Door software to build the required windows and doors for quoting.

Utilising Softech V6 Window & Door software to generate customer quotes and detailed prices.

Collaborating with management and production to ensure estimates are aligned with the customer and business requirements.

Maintaining and updating pricing information, vendor databases, and estimating tools.

Identifying potential risks or issues that could impact order costs and communicating these to the team.

Providing support and guidance to the fabrication crew to ensure projects are completed within budget.

What we're looking for
