GE Renewable Energy Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanical MCU Technician to join our team across Australia. You will perform on-site MCU/UTR work on wind turbines, collaborate in small teams, and coordinate with MCU Leads and crane vendors to ensure safe, efficient execution.

The role requires trade qualification, electrical aptitude, and readiness to travel nationally on a 3 weeks on/1 week off roster; relocation support is provided.

Formación

• Trade qualified Mechanical tradespersons, with electrical aptitude.
• Fault finding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
• Experience in wind farm operations and maintenance, installation, and heavy lift main component exchange.
• Intermediate level computer skills.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident or NZ citizen) and willingness to travel on 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster.

Responsabilidades

• Work in small hands-on groups during on-site execution of MCU/UTR work.
• Operate major crane activities as directed by the MCU Lead.
• Inspect major parts for damage and correct configuration.
• Validate Inventory Tooling, Parts and items needed for MCU operations.
• Complete documentation and data collection for MCU/UTR execution.
• Adhere to GE EHS policies and report incidents or safety concerns.
