Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Service Technician for the MacIntyre Wind Farm in Queensland, Australia. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of wind turbines through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical fields and a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to safety and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hydraulic, electrical or mechanical environments.
• Strong English communication skills to interpret technical documentation.
• Organised and reliable, able to prioritise work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines.
• Conduct commissioning and inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor spare parts and manage inventory.
• Support 24/7 wind farm operations.
