Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Wind Farm Field Service Technician for Bodangora, NSW, to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GE turbines and site infrastructure. The role entails climbing turbines, fault finding, and adhering to GE manuals and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing wind turbine or similar electrical equipment.
• Ability to follow manuals, specs and work instructions precisely.
• Familiarity with maintenance reporting and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled turbine and site maintenance tasks.
• Follow GE manuals and work instructions for inspections and tasks.
• Conduct fault finding and high voltage switching operations as required.
• Participate in annual maintenance, retrofit works and component exchanges.
• Use GE software tools to maintain reports and submit technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with JSA, LOTO, and EHS policies and report issues promptly.
• Make conformance or non-conformance decisions after inspections.
• Report errors or incidents promptly using GE reporting systems.
• Adhere to a 37.5-hour week with overtime and on-call rosters.
