Job summary

News Corp Australia is seeking a Health, Safety & Security Advisor in Chullora to act as a WHS business partner across national practices. You will embed safety programs, coach staff on hazard identification and risk assessments, and monitor controls in a dynamic manufacturing and multi-tenanted environment.

You will lead risk management activities, report insights to site leaders, and support injury claims with insurers and providers, while working in a hybrid setup and travelling interstate

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is required.
• Experience managing safety risks in dynamic production or multi-tenant environments.
• Strong collaboration and influence with site leaders as a WHS partner.
• Excellent listening skills and empathetic stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel interstate when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist WHS advice to site leaders and drive safety performance.
• Lead risk management initiatives focusing on hazard identification, manual handling, and plant risks.
• Coach employees on risk elimination and use of HSS software for hazards and incidents.
• Monitor controls and compliance through verification, inspections and reviews.
• Take ownership of injury claims working with insurers and providers.
