Job summary

Marsh in Adelaide is seeking an experienced WHS & Risk Team Leader to guide a regional team of Risk & Safety Advisors and service a portfolio of government and member clients.

You will coach staff, drive WHS improvements, assess risks, and foster strong client relationships while acting as a senior contact for complex inquiries.

The role offers hybrid work with travel to regional sites and a focus on continuous improvement in risk management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
• Sound knowledge of South Australian Work Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with risk management frameworks (ISO 31000 desirable).
• Understanding civil liability concepts in local government.
• Strong stakeholder management with CEOs, senior leaders and staff.
• Current SA driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of regional Risk & Safety Advisors with coaching and oversight.
• Service a portfolio of Scheme Members, delivering WHS and risk functions.
• Strengthen relationships with clients and internal teams to drive growth.
• Act as a senior client contact for complex needs and escalations.
• Support Members to implement WHS strategies and staff training.
