Job summary

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a dedicated WHS Coordinator to champion safety at St Andrews Ipswich Private Hospital. In this hands-on role, you will embed the safety management system, lead risk assessments, site audits and incident investigations, partnering with the national safety team and facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
• Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
• A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

About The Role

In this role, you will lead all WHS initiatives at St Andrews IpswichPrivate Hospital, partnering closely with both the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to build and maintain a strong, proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities include

• Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation.
