Job summary

SEE Group is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Advisor for a project-based role in Orange, NSW. The position covers WHS training, incident investigation and compliance across a major infrastructure project for an international mining business.

The role offers an 8 days on / 6 days off roster with FIFO, DIDO or local options. Accommodation is available, and SEE Group promotes a Great Place to Work culture with strong safety values.

Qualifications

• Background in WHS, Plant Operation, Civil Construction and Quarry processes.
• Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety or Quality Management is required.
• Training and Assessment qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and conduct formal WHS training, inductions, toolbox talks and pre-start safety briefings for staff, visitors and subcontractors.
• Develop training programs on WHS issues including hazard management and accident investigation.
• Assist in maintaining accreditations such as FSC, QMS and TMR.
• Provide guidance on safety matters and investigate breaches, incidents and near misses.
