Job summary

The Perfect Recruit is seeking a Wharf Planner for a Banksmeadow-based role on the day shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30am–4pm). You will secure wharf slots, coordinate containers with trucks, and keep the flow tight so the operation runs smoothly.

This is a stable, on-site position within a nationwide transport company. Experience with wharf slot bookings and familiarity with 1 Stop, VBS and container chains is valued.

Wharf Planner - Container Transport | Banksmeadow | Day Shift Mon-Fri

You're sharp. You think fast, make the call and move on. When a wharf slot falls through at the last minute, you don't panic, you've already got a plan B.

This role is for a client of ours, a reputable, nationwide transport company based in Banksmeadow, Sydney.

This is the role where it all comes together. You'll be the one securing wharf slots, keeping containers moving and making sure the right trucks are in the right place at the right time. When you get it right, the whole operation runs smoothly - and everyone knows it.

It's a stable day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm. And with a nationwide business behind you, there's real room to grow your career.

A generous salary package is on offer, depending on experience.

You'll need:

• Experience booking slots on the wharf - Must be familiar with 1 Stop , VBS & Container chain
• The ability to think quickly and make confident decisions

You'll ideally come from:

• Wharf cartage - if you're looking to learn the planner side, a solid wharf cartage background and a basic understanding of the role will get you in the door
