BlueCare is seeking a Wellness Partner at Flinders View Nowlanvil Aged Care Facility. The role delivers engaging, person-centered wellness programs to support residents' physical, emotional, social and cognitive wellbeing.

Work closely with residents, families and the care team to create opportunities for meaningful participation, independence and connection. The ideal candidate will facilitate activities, build relationships, support independence and collaborate with volunteers.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
• Current Driver's License and willingness to drive a 12-seater bus.
• Experience delivering group and 1:1 activities in aged care or community settings.
• Practical experience in facilitating creative, social, cognitive and physical activities.
• Understanding of dementia care, person-centred practice and cultural safety.
• Knowledge of infection control and manual handling.
• Exposure to person-centred care principles.

What makes a difference for us?

Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or an equivalent qualification

Understanding of dementia care, person-centred practice and cultural safety

Knowledge of infection control, manual handling practices and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards

Exposure to person-centred care principles and a sound understanding of the needs of older adults

Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, allied health professionals, care staff and volunteers

Strong ability to build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with residents and their families

Ability to design and adapt lifestyle and wellness activities for residents with cognitive or physical limitations

Understanding of dignity, cultural safety and individual choice in care delivery

Satisfy the relevantprobitychecks requiredbylegislationororganisationalpolicy
