BlueCare is seeking a Wellness Partner for Bundaberg Riverlea and Pioneer Aged Care facilities. You will run inclusive wellness activities, tailor programs to individual resident needs, and work with carers, families and volunteers to promote independence and dignity.

The role requires Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, a current driver's license, and experience delivering activities in aged care or community settings. Salary packaging and benefits are included.

Formación

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
• Current Drivers License.
• Experience delivering group and 1:1 activity in aged care or community settings.
• Practical experience in creative, social, cognitive and physical activity facilitation.
• Understanding of dementia care and person-centred practice.
• Knowledge of infection control and manual handling.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to foster dignity, respect and independence for residents.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate inclusive group and 1:1 wellness activities that support residents’ physical, emotional, social and cognitive wellbeing.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, encouraging independence, dignity and participation through engagement and support.
• Collaborate with care staff, clinical teams, families and volunteers to align programs with resident needs.
• Guide, support and engage volunteers to contribute to resident wellbeing.
• Gather input from residents and families to improve programs and embed services in daily operations.
• Complete lifestyle assessments (with supervision) and observe changes in wellbeing.
• Prepare and maintain activity spaces and materials to ensure safe environments.
• Follow policies and contribute to continuous improvement with feedback.
