Job summary

XtraClubs in Manly NSW is seeking a friendly Wellness Club Attendant to welcome members, explain memberships, and ensure a pristine, premium space. You will be the face of the club, delivering outstanding service and assisting with bookings.

You will maintain club standards, handle enquiries, and support a safe, welcoming environment seven days a week, including essential weekend shifts and occasional weekdays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and guest-facing experience.
• Holds a current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willing to obtain one).
• Capable of handling bookings and accounts using internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and deliver a warm, professional atmosphere.
• Conduct club tours and explain memberships and facilities.
• Assist with bookings and account changes using internal systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the club spaces.
• Perform daily water testing for ice baths and pools with proper dosing.

Your role

Customer Experience & Member Support

Your primary responsibility is creating an incredible first impression and delivering an outstanding member experience. You’ll be the face of XtraClubs, ensuring every member feels welcomed, supported, and valued from the moment they walk through the door.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Welcoming members and creating a warm, professional, and friendly atmosphere

• Conducting engaging club tours and clearly explaining memberships and facilities

• Answering member enquiries and assisting with bookings or account changes using our internal systems

• Confidently and calmly resolving customer concerns with empathy and professionalism

Club Standards & Etiquette

A great wellness space relies on a safe, respectful environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the serene, high-end atmosphere that our members love.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring members follow club etiquette and facility rules respectfully

• Politely but confidently addressing inappropriate behaviour when required

• Fostering a safe, inclusive, and relaxing space for everyone

Cleaning, Operations & Presentation

At XtraClubs, operational excellence goes hand‑in‑hand with member satisfaction. You’ll ensure our facilities operates safely and stay in immaculate condition.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Executing operational checklists to ensure smooth day‑to‑day club running

• Maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the entire club

• Restocking towels, and consumables.

• Completing daily water testing for our ice baths and dosing pools with chemicals for compliance and water quality (full training provided)

• Keeping the club spaces organised and inviting

Our clubs operate from 6:00am to 11:00pm, seven days a week.

Typical shifts include: Currently hiring for mainly weekend support, and the occasional weekday. Approx 1-3 shifts available a week)

• Morning: 8:00am – 3:00pm

• Evening: 3:00pm – 10:00pm

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with people and naturally delivers outstanding customer service

• Possesses a calm, confident, and approachable communication style

• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation

• Is comfortable enforcing rules and club etiquette

• Is organised, dependable, and comfortable working independently

• Feels confident using technology and learning new internal software

• Holds a current First Aid & CPR certificate (or is willing to obtain one)

Desirable (but not essential):

• Certificate III or IV in Fitness

• Previous experience in hospitality, fitness, wellness, health, or retail customer service

• Pool or water testing experience
