Job summary

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs in Adelaide is seeking a proactive Reception Team Leader to drive guest experience at our 5 Star club. You will manage the reception team, oversee rostering, and ensure service standards across peak hours.

You'll train new staff, enforce systems, and foster a friendly, professional culture that supports members and colleagues. Hospitality or club reception experience is preferred, with strong people skills and composure under pressure.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months in a similar reception or hospitality leadership role.
• Experience with rostering and workforce planning.
• Excellent customer service and presentation.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for leading the Reception team, workforce planning to meet and exceed service levels, follow systems and processes to ensure consistency, training and on-boarding of new team members, and promoting a culture of high quality service and employee engagement.

The hours for this role will vary across Monday-Sunday with some early morning and late shift required together with the occassional weekend, and we do have the ability to be flexible and support each other given that the team is made up of both permanent and casual employees.

Your Experience

• A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
• Experience in leading a team including workforce planning and rostering
• You will take on reception shifts throughout the week
• Having a courteous and friendly manner
• Exceptional personal presentation
• Highly developed customer relations and interpersonal skills
• The ability to master required software applications
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• The ability to build rapport with members and internal staff
• A calm and friendly disposition, while working under pressure
• Demonstrated commitment and ability to work as part of a dynamic team
• First Aid Certificate - desirable

• Working with Children Clearance (WWCC) is required to work at Next Gen
