Job summary

Beyond Rest in Melbourne's Prahran area seeks a Wellness Centre Manager to lead client care and sales. You will coach staff, drive service excellence, and grow memberships while maintaining a calm wellness environment.

Responsibilities include client onboarding, guiding service selections, processing bookings, and achieving KPIs. The role offers a base salary with commissions and access to wellness therapies in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing roles with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Experience in wellness, beauty, fitness or retail is preferred.
• Comfortable with EFTPOS, CRM, bookings and admin tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Calm under pressure, excellent communication and team-first attitude.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll support clients, coach staff, and help the centre grow through strong sales and service.

Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Welcoming and looking after clients
• Explaining our services and guiding them to the right options
• Selling memberships and wellness packs
• Conducting body measurements and tracking client progress
• Maintaining a clean, professional space
• Supporting casual staff and managing daily operations
• Handling bookings, EFTPOS, rosters and basic admin
• Meeting monthly KPIs and contributing to centre growth

Work Hours

• Full-time: Tuesday to Saturday
• Typical shifts range between 8:30am–4:30pm and 11:00am–7.00pm
• Occasional flexibility required for events or activations

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• 5+ years in customer-facing roles
• 5+ years in sales roles (ideally within wellness, beauty, fitness or retail)
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and guide customers through decisions
• Comfortable with EFTPOS, CRM, booking systems and admin
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Calm under pressure, great communicator, team-first attitude

Bonus if you have:

• Previous team leadership or assistant manager experience
• Wellness industry experience or personal interest
• Basic social media experience (posting stories or updates)

We’ll Train You On:

• Red light therapy & body contouring processes
• Float pod setup, cleaning and water maintenance
• Hocatt ozone chamber
• Sales choreography around our services
