Job summary

The Department of Education invites applications for the Wellbeing Program Coordinator to lead and empower staff within a complex educational setting. You will collaborate with Wellbeing personnel and the Executive Team to develop, implement and evaluate evidence-informed wellbeing programs aligned with the College’s priorities, including MTSS and trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Be Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa for the term of the appointment.
• Hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
• Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and empower staff to develop a high-performing wellbeing program.
• Oversee MTSS framework with trauma-informed practice, positive behaviour support and cultural responsiveness.
• Coordinate targeted interventions and case management for students at risk, including attendance, complex behaviours, mental health and disabilities.
