Job summary

Southern River College seeks a Wellbeing Program Coordinator for Years 8 and 9. The role leads wellbeing initiatives, coordinates with the Wellbeing Team and Executive, and guides trauma-informed practice within MTSS.

You will support student engagement, manage targeted interventions and work with external stakeholders to deliver high‑impact wellbeing services while aligning with college priorities.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Department of Education student services policies and procedures.
• Highly developed emotional intelligence and strong organisational skills.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and support staff within a complex school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to Wellbeing Team and staff delivering wellbeing initiatives.
• Lead the Wellbeing Centre and oversee MTSS-based interventions for students in Years 8–9.
• Collaborate with Heads of Year, SSOs and MCS to plan, implement and evaluate supports.
• Contribute to strategic planning to improve student engagement and belonging across the College.
