SCW FABRICATIONS PTY LTD in Kembla Grange NSW is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to lead welding and fabrication across workshop and site operations. You will coordinate trades, ensure drawings and procedures are followed, and provide hands-on technical support to keep safety and quality at the forefront.

The role suits a tradesperson with strong leadership, high-risk work licences, and a proven track record supervising welding teams in quality-controlled environments.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker/Welder with welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience supervising welding, fabrication, or industrial crews.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, drawings, and fabrication requirements.
• Experience in quality-controlled welding environments.
• Ability to coordinate personnel across workshop and site environments.
• High-risk work licences and related tickets are a plus.
• Leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising welding and fabrication activities across workshop and site operations.
• Coordinating tradespeople, work priorities, materials, and equipment.
• Ensuring welding activities follow drawings, specs, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Monitoring workmanship and assisting with inspections and quality documentation.
• Providing technical guidance and hands-on support to teams.
• Coordinating with managers, clients and other trades as required.
• Supporting site installations, maintenance, shutdowns, and project works.
• Monitoring productivity and progress of works.
• Developing welders, boilermakers, and apprentices.
• Following WHS policies and safe work practices.
