Job summary

Ezy-Fit Engineering Group in Salisbury South is seeking a qualified tradesperson to manufacture high-quality hydraulic cylinders and components. You will be part of a modern manufacturing team, focusing on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products according to drawings and work orders.
• Assist with materials handling and selection.
• Maintain traceability of manufactured products.
• Record in-process inspections and report non-conformities.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Adhere to WH&S regulations at all times.

Based in Salisbury South, Ezy-Fit Hydraulics & Engineering Group is an Australian owned and operated designer and manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic cylinders as well as other bespoke engineering activities. Our factory premises comprises of 5,500 sq metres and houses state-of-the-art CNC machinery as well as traditional lathes and mills. Our welding capability comprises of Mig, Tig and Submerged Arc.

Due to ongoing growth and growing demand for Australian made products, Ezy-Fit Hydraulics & Engineering Group has multiple positions available including a trade qualified welder.

About You

• Trade qualified
• Thorough knowledge of welding and manufacturing processes
• Good communication skills
• Able to effectively interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience in operating key manufacturing equipment
  
  

Your Tasks

• Carry out the manufacture of products and components in accordance with work orders, drawings and other instructions.
• Assist with material and component selection and handling.
• Maintain identification and traceability of manufactured products.
• Carry out and record the results of in-process inspections on manufactured components and assemblies according to instructions.
• Report non-conformities to the Leading Hand or Production Manager.
• Look for opportunities of continuous improvement within the organisation.
• Operate in a safe manner and in accordance with WH&S Regulations.
