Job summary

Ezy-Fit Hydraulics invites applications for an Apprentice Fitter & Machinist in Salisbury South, starting December/January. You’ll participate in the full manufacturing process for hydraulic cylinders, with exposure to diverse industries including defence and marine, across rotations through local branches.

Under the Elevate Apprenticeship Program, you’ll have a mentor, structured learning, and a community of peers within Questas Group, fostering a lasting career path after qualification.

Qualifications

Minimum Year 10 High School Certificate.
Curious about how machines and mechanical systems work.
Comfortable with maths, and good with your hands.
Careful and precise - accuracy matters in this trade.

Responsibilities

Work alongside senior fitters and machinists on the manufacture and assembly of hydraulic cylinders.
Learn to read technical drawings and schematics.
Get hands-on with precision machining processes and equipment.
Assist with testing and quality checks on finished components.
