Job summary

Metaltex Australia Pty Ltd is seeking TIG/MIG welders for day shift in Dandenong South, Victoria. The role requires at least 3 years of welding experience, ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints, and proficiency in light gauge welding across stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel.

We offer above award rates, excellent working conditions, and supplied tools, uniform and PPE. Applicants must have full Australian working rights.

• Able to read drawings.
• Interpret all drawing types including technical blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Light Gauge TIG and or MIG test.
• Experience with TIG welding across stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
• Proficiency in light gauge welding for materials under 6mm thickness.
• Self-motivated, reliable and punctual.
• Take pride in their work.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.

About the Person:

The successful candidate must have the following experience/ qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Welder TIG & MIG Fabricator

Demonstrated ability to interpret all drawing types including technical blueprints and assembly drawings

Light Gauge TIG and or MIG test

Experience with TIG welding across multiple materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel

Proficiency in light gauge welding for materials under 6mm thickness

Self-motivated, reliable and punctual

Take pride in their work

Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
