Job summary

Workforce International in Eastern Creek, NSW, is seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join a busy fabrication workshop. You will work with mild steel, reading technical drawings, and producing high-quality components in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with modern welding equipment. Immediate start for the right candidate, ongoing casual opportunity, afternoon shifts, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG & TIG welding experience.
• Experience working with mild steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding on mild steel components.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans.
• Operating fabrication equipment, including grinders, cutters and welding machinery.
• Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area.

Working with mild steel, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components for a variety of projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This opportunity is based in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern fabrication equipment and excellent working conditions.

Hours & Pay

$48.30 per hour - Afternoon Shift

• Monday-Thursday: 2:30pm-11:00pm

• Friday: 12:00pm-6:00pm

• Location: Eastern Creek, NSW

• Employment: Ongoing casual opportunity

• Start: Immediate

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Previous MIG & TIG welding experience

• Experience working with mild steel fabrication

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Trade qualification or relevant industry experience preferred

• Forklift Licence or Overhead Crane experience highly regarded

• Reliable transport and availability to work afternoon shifts
