Job summary

Ese Consulting in Victoria's Bendigo region is seeking a hands‑on welder/fabricator to join a family‑owned workshop. Build on your trade experience and actively contribute to fabrication of diverse products in a busy workshop.

You will work Monday to Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm, with Friday finishing at noon, and gain on‑the‑job training while developing your welding skills alongside experienced tradespeople. If you have safety awareness, pride in quality, and a willingness to learn, this full‑time

Qualifications

• Experience in a trade, manufacturing, construction, engineering or fabrication environment.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• A willingness to learn and develop your welding and fabrication skills.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A safety-first approach.
• A current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in a hands-on workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with welding and fabrication activities under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform grinding, cutting, drilling, folding, riveting and finishing tasks.
• Prepare materials and components for fabrication.
• Support workshop operations while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow safe work practices and contribute to a clean and organised workshop.
• Learn new fabrication techniques and develop your welding capability.
