Job summary

Pro Services on the Mornington Peninsula and Metro Melbourne seeks qualified Welder/Fabricator/Boiler Maker/Pipe Fitter to join our team. Interpret shop drawings, operate site machinery, TIG welding focus, fabricate stainless and carbon steel, and weld pipework.

Minimum 3 years experience, proactive, able to meet deadlines, and enjoy teamwork. On-site travel is possible with overtime opportunities; hourly rate negotiable based on experience. Our operations cover Bendigo and Melbourne workshops.

Qualifications

• Have minimum of 3 years prior experience in Welding and Fabrication and or Pipe Fitting.
• Pro-active, hands-on with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• Experience in welding and fabrication of Stainless steel, Carbon steel and process pipework is desirable but not essential.
• Enjoy working in a busy team and be willing to travel for site work.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of work shop plans and engineering/fabrications drawings.
• Ability to use various site machinery including scissor lifts, Ewp, Forklifts.
• All forms of Welding with a strong emphasis on TIG welding.
• Fabricate Stainless Steel and Carbon steel products using Light and Heavy materials.
• Purge welding of stainless steel tube and pipe.
• Fabrication of carbon steel pipework.

Your New Role as a Qualified Welder / Fabricator / Boiler Maker / Pipe Fitter:

What you will need to succeed:

• Hourly rate negotiable based on experience.
