Job summary

Aaurora Fencing on the Gold Coast is seeking a welder with experience in steel and aluminium (preferred but not essential) to join our busy team.

You will read drawings, measure with accuracy, work solo or with others, and help fabricate swing and sliding gates, frames, panels and screens for a range of fencing projects. This hands-on role offers opportunities to contribute to quality workmanship and on-site fabrication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and measure accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
• Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.
• Consistently produces quality workmanship on metal fabrication.
• Openness to learning and applying weld techniques as required.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools including measuring devices, drills, grinders and sanders.
• Cutting and bending pipe to required specifications.
• Manufacture swing, sliding gates and gate frames.
• Fabricate panels and screens as used in fencing projects.
• Forklift license is an advantage.

We are a busy fencing company looking for a welder to join our team, experienced in both steel and aluminium is preferred but not essential.
