Accurate Recruitment has partnered with a leading engineering and metal fabrication business based in Carole Park. They are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator specializing in high-quality architectural metalwork to join their busy workshop team.

In this role, you will take ownership of fabrication projects from technical drawings through to the finished product, ensuring precision and quality at every step.

Qualifications

• Proven track record fabricating handrails, balustrades, or structural/architectural steel.
• Strong proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding, with ability to work from drawings.
• Trade qualifications are highly regarded; non-trade applicants with proven experience encouraged.
• Attention to detail, work ethic, reliable transport and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld architectural metalwork including handrails, balustrades and stairs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, drill and assemble metal components.
• Perform high-quality MIG welding as required by the project.
• Operate workshop hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Read, interpret, and accurately work from engineering drawings and specifications.

• Perform high-quality MIG welding as required by the project.
• Operate workshop hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

What We Are Looking For

Experience

Proven track record fabricating handrails, balustrades, or structural/architectural steel.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding, with the ability to work independently from workshop drawings.

Qualifications

Trade qualifications are highly regarded, but non-trade applicants with exceptional proven experience are encouraged to apply.
