Job summary

Buildability Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Welder to join a Western Sydney workshop. You will weld structural steel components to drawings, fit up assemblies, read fabrication drawings, and maintain safety and quality standards on busy projects for commercial, industrial and infrastructure work.

You should have a recognised welding trade qualification, proven structural steel fabrication experience, and MIG/flux-core welding capability; AS/NZS 1554 cert is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication
• MIG/flux-core welding experience; stick or TIG a bonus
• Welding certification to AS/NZS 1554 highly regarded
• Ability to read drawings and work to tolerances
• Reliable and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic
• Own transport and right to work in Australia

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Welder to join an established structural steel fabrication business in Western Sydney. You’ll work in a busy workshop producing steelwork for commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, and you’ll be part of a team that takes pride in quality work and working safely.
