Job summary

ARB Corporation Ltd is Australia’s leading maker of 4x4 accessories and equipment protection products. We are seeking experienced Welders to join our production team.

You will fabricate high-quality bull bars, side rails and underbody components using MIG, TIG and Pulse welding in a busy manufacturing environment, reading SOPs, maintaining safe work practices and meeting daily targets.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of full-time welding/metal fabrication experience.
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG and Pulse welding.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/industrial fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical instructions.
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S and manual handling requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Weld components including bull bars, wings, rear bars and UVP.
  • Perform grinding, first offs and last offs per SOPs.
  • Interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment safely.
  • Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Comply with OH&S requirements and safe work practices.
  • Keep welding bay clean and support general housekeeping.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to safety and quality.

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for fabricating high-quality vehicle protection products such as bull bars, side rails, and underbody components, using MIG, TIG, and Pulse welding techniques in a production manufacturing environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Weld components including bull bars, wings, rear bars, UVP, and more
  • Perform grinding, first offs, and last offs in line with ARB quality procedures
  • Interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment safely
  • Meet daily production targets
  • Comply with all occupational health and safety requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness of welding bay and participate in general housekeeping
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to workplace safety and quality
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
  • At least3 years of relevant, full-time experiencein welding and metal fabrication (or equivalent part-time experience)
  • Proficient inMIG, TIG, and Pulse welding
  • Experience in amanufacturing or industrial fabricationenvironment
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical instructions
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S and manual handling requirements
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to work flexible hours
  • Trade qualification in welding or metal fabrication (preferred but not essential)
