Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, labouring or trade‑related experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to safely perform physical and manual handling tasks.

  • Willingness to learn, take direction and develop new skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.

  • Prepare, move and organise materials, components and finished products to support production requirements.
  • Assist tradespeople and production team members as directed.
  • Load, unload and store materials safely and correctly.
  • Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.
  • Follow production schedules, work instructions and established manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and report damaged, missing or incorrect materials, quality concerns and production issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other reasonable duties as required.

MITS Alloy, a subsidiary of the ARB Group, is an Australian manufacturer specialising in premium aluminium trays and canopies. Based in Newcastle, NSW, MITS Alloy serves both national and international markets with high-quality products designed for durability and performance.

Our manufacturing team is looking for a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Labourer to support daily production operations. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining quality standards, and is willing to learn and contribute across a variety of manufacturing activities.

The Role: As a Manufacturing Labourer, you will provide general labour and operational support across the manufacturing facility to assist with the safe, efficient and timely production of quality products. Working as part of a supportive team, you will play an important role in ensuring production requirements are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
